Amy Voss, an accomplished litigator who has handled many complex cases, first learned her negotiation skills in business. She worked in England for eight years as a marketing executive for a major redevelopment project. The project transformed a garbage dump into a 450-acre business park and required cooperation from residents and local authorities. With Amy's help, they were able to work together towards a common goal.

Amy brings that natural ability, along with a stellar educational and legal background, to Lutz Law. She earned a B.A. cum laude from Georgetown University in Washington, D.C., and a J.D. summa cum laude from the William S. Richardson School of Law at the University of Hawaii in Honolulu, where she ranked third in her graduating class of 94.

The native of Hawaii practiced law with a mid-sized firm there for six years before moving to the Seattle-Tacoma area. Her experience includes arguing motions in court and arbitration proceedings and participating in mediation negotiations. She is a forceful advocate for her clients. "I have the ability to analyze problems quickly, identify the necessary tasks we need to complete, and work hard on my clients' objectives," she says.

Even before meeting Amy, Lutz Law Founder David Lutz was impressed by her academic credentials, including her performance at the University of Hawaii, whose law school is highly ranked and extremely competitive. That favorable view deepened from their first conversation. "I was struck by her wit and analytical abilities," Lutz says. "I was also impressed with her experience litigating civil cases involving millions of dollars. After working with her on family law cases, I know firsthand how she aggressively and compassionately represents our clients."

In her free time, Amy enjoys traditional Northwest pursuits like drinking coffee, she jokes. She enjoys gardening and is actively involved in a variety of civic and charitable organizations.
