With over two decades of legal experience, Merry Broberg is a dedicated family law attorney known for her gregarious nature and results-driven advocacy. Her practice thrives on grace, compassion, and strength. She is adept at guiding clients through complex family law matters. Colleagues notice that she listens before speaking.
Born on Ellsworth Air Force Base and raised in Spokane, WA, Merry initially pursued civil engineering at the University of Washington before taking Latin and a logic course that led her to law. She earned her Juris Doctor (JD degree) from Seattle University School of Law, excelling in moot court and alternative dispute resolution. Merry knows how to tell your story in the courtroom and get results.
During the early parts of her legal career, she gained trial experience working for a public defender where she succeeded in every trial assigned to her. As a law student, she argued before the Washington Supreme Court as a final examination for Appellate Advocacy, taught by Former Justice Phillip Talmadge.
A fierce advocate in the courtroom, Merry’s degree in English literature, combined with her extensive legal writing training, makes her a formidable opponent in trial and motions practice. She excels at crafting compelling arguments and delivering results. Her personal philosophy is simple: "Fear only holds you back; it never moves you forward."

Beyond the courtroom Merry enjoys: PiYo workouts, Texas Hold’em poker, baking, creating art, sewing, spending time with her many critters, and playing billiards.
