David believes in trying to settle cases without litigation when practical. When litigation is necessary, he ensures his clients have the knowledge they need to make informed decisions. From Hong Kong to the U.S. Navy to Tacoma
David hails from North Carolina. After attending college and serving as a volunteer in Hong Kong, he enlisted in the U.S. Navy. His tour on board the USS Nimitz introduced him to the Pacific Northwest, which he and his family now call home. While in the Navy, he earned a B.S. in business and began attending law school. Following his graduation from Seattle University Law School, David opened his first law office, now in Tacoma, in 1997. He opened another office in Kent in 2021. In 2025, he opened an office in Bainbridge Island.
