Jeff Rank is a seasoned litigator who has zealously represented clients in all manner of family law cases for over 15 years. His approach to every case is marked by careful analysis, a keen understanding of his client's specific situation, and a relentless pursuit of the best possible outcomes, whether through strategic negotiation, careful mediation, or bare-knuckled litigation.

Committed, compassionate, and courageous, Jeff’s formidable presence in the courtroom sets him apart in the family law landscape. He has been appointed by courts in well over 100 family law cases to serve either as attorney ad litem or as an amicus attorney. Jeff has represented clients in front of trial courts in both Texas and Washington, in state appellate courts, the Texas State Supreme Court, federal district court, and the United States 5th Circuit Court of Appeals. His experienced, resolute yet empathetic approach allows him to be a robust ally for his clients during one of the most challenging times of their lives.

Prior to becoming an attorney, Jeff earned a Master of Science degree in Oceanography from Texas A&M University where he used cave diving to explore underwater caves on the Yucatan Peninsula. His research focused on using computer modeling techniques to examine chaotic population dynamics.

Jeff grew up in Flour Bluff, Texas and moved with his family to Washington in 2021. He has served as a director on numerous non-profit boards and was twice elected as a school board trustee. Jeff has two teenaged children. In his free time, he enjoys woodworking, playing guitar and hiking.
